The architectural firm Stokes A+D set the tone of the restaurant as warm and bright. The biggest visual focus of the restaurant comes from the ceiling. The designer uses cost-effective plywood panels and custom felt flags with gradual earth tones. The arrangement of flags creates a undulating and three-dimensional effect above the diner's head. At the same time, the felt helps to absorb sound. Wood, felt and contrasting tiles make the whole space interesting and warm.
The designer also uses many popular colors, including the mural designed and installed by the local mural artist David Guinn in the color block coating scheme, and the first split sign presented in this pink color with embedded aluminum slot lights, which is designed to make the space bright. The embedded downlight above the table serves as the key lighting to show the color of food.
